Restorative materials & dentures
Ivoclar
What it is
Dental materials and workflows, including IPS e.max CAD and BPS.

Background
IPS e.max CAD is a lithium disilicate glass-ceramic. BPS describes a coordinated clinical and laboratory denture workflow; it is not a single ceramic material.
Why it may be discussed
Your clinician may discuss a material for a restoration or a workflow for dentures. Ask which exact product is proposed and who will make it; the brand is not a promise of fit or longevity.
How to check the product
Request a product record naming the material, exact product and laboratory, with available batch information. For BPS, also ask how the clinic and laboratory document the workflow.
Use product records to request verification through the manufacturer’s official website or contact channel. Packaging, a logo or a photograph alone cannot establish authenticity.
If records are missing or inconsistent, ask the treating clinic to clarify them before deciding. We do not authenticate products or provide a manufacturer guarantee.
